LET’S KEEP HEROIC ARTSAKH OURS. ANNOUNCEMENT

It is evident that especially after the catastrophic 44-days war, our brothers and sisters in Artsakh have been subjected to profound grief and suffering. The widespread mourning and emotional turmoil have additionally been compounded by the personal anxieties of our displaced compatriots. A year after the horrific battles, now at the beginning of the upcoming harsh winter, a large number of Artsakh Armenians still remain destitute and in temporary accommodation.
 
Even so, besides homes and warm shelters; schools, pharmacies, and many indispensable communal institutions should be set-up as soon as possible, in order to ensure and provide the bare minimum for a dignified life for the Armenians of Artsakh. All these initiations must happen now, must happen today. Otherwise, it may be too late, as the desperate and the needy may be compelled to leave Artsakh. All possible protective measures should be considered to avoid irreversible consequences. The eviction of Armenians from Artsakh must be prevented and insistently halted.

Thousands of brave heroes sacrificed their lives for the liberation and protection of their ancestral homeland. Meanwhile, the majority of Armenians in diaspora could purely provide financial support and moral sustenance. The critical moment has come for each one of us to demonstrate our true patriotism sensibly and pragmatically. Surely, THE VERY EXISTENCE OF ARTSAKH IS AT THE HEART OF THE CONCERN. Hence, even at the expense of making individual sacrifices, we must give our utmost.

Let no one attempt to justify personal reluctance. Each one of us, each and every Armenian ought to contribute the most with a clear resolve and conscience. The contrary, should simply imply being a traitor.

Regrettably, it is also important to address another alarming issue.
